I was faced with having to sell my home that I had only been living in for a year. I approached Kelvin Winnie at Cox Partners as I knew him through some of my children and I lived next door to his parents. Kelvin discussed all the options available to me and the price he felt my home should be marketed for. Not at any stage was he pushy or patronising – both things I had experienced with other real estate agents in the past. He was always totally professional in our discussions and decisions. He was positive and confident that my home would sell for a realistic price and said the company would only bring people through who were genuine buyers. My house sold for a higher price than listed and my thanks go to Debbie Chapman for her skilled negotiations with two buyers. Kelvin was out of town for the weekend so Debbie was covering for him. I also was impressed with the follow-ups from the office staff. Their regular calls to check on how things were going and asking if there was anything else they could do to help me was greatly appreciated. When I first met Kelvin Winnie he sat me down and asked what I was looking for in a house and he showed me only properties he had assessed would be suitable to my needs.
